Let me start out by saying that I work in the Healthcare industry and am familiar with certain challenges that exist, but I also recognize a lack of interest and concern and this was definitely one of them. Unfortunately, my new patient experience was not a good one.I had a 1:30 appointment on 10/15/14 that I showed up to at 1:20. There was no one at the front desk and there was one other person in the lobby. I turned in my New Patient information to the receptionist when she returned to her desk and was told someone would be with me shortly. Between 1:20 and 2:15, numerous patients came and went so I decided to ask the receptionist if I was still on the list and she asked if I was a new patient and said she would check. A few minutes later, I was called in from the lobby. A nurse put me in a room and took my vitals. She informed me that someone would be with me shortly. 20 minutes later I decided that an hour and 20 minutes was more than enough time and opened the door to express my concerns. I was asked what I needed. I replied that I had been there for over an hour and had another appointment at 3:00 that I needed to get to. I was asked again if I was a new patient and I said yes and I asked if this was typical as far as wait time and communication. No reply to that question and I then was told that someone would be with me shortly but I had heard that several times earlier and shortly never happened. I said if this was typically what a new patient experiences, then I would not be becoming a "new patient" No attempt was made to address my concerns so I asked for my paperwork back and left and never heard from the clinic. I got the distinct impression that if you were a new patient you were a low priority. I had recently moved to the area and was looking for a new doctor. If someone at the clinic would like to speak with me about this, they have my number as they contacted me two days before to confirm my appointment.
Dr Roach is bad. Had to keep going back to get approval on my medications form the pharmacy after he said for me to come back every 3-6 months. Sent me to get x-rays not in my insurance network. When had an issue with refills the staff told me "feel free to find another Dr. somewhere else" instead of trying to solve the problem. Very unprofessional! When I Tryed to find out where to go for x-rays I had to fill out a form and it took 2 weeks to recieve an answer in the mail. You people can do better than this place. He's into this holistic healing which may be Okay if you dont need prescription medications. but if you ever get hurt, you better have a real old fashon (M.D.) Roach is just a D.O. and no longer Okays hydrocodone for anybody. If you do go here go see the other Dr. Not Dr. Roach.
There is not a rating low enough for the customer service and referral program Trinity Medical Clinic has. "The fax machine don't work." is not an acceptable excuse for not doing your job. The DR.'s and Nurse Practitioner are great, unfortunately it is all about how you are treated by their support staff in between the 15 minutes you spend visiting with the professionals. I've been waiting a month and a half for a CT Scan. Unacceptable.
Dr Keller has been my main physician for 5 yrs and he is the most caring, easy-to-talk-to doctor I have ever had, and in addition to that, I think he's a wonderful doctor and is the "old school" kind of doctor I love. He actually listens and talks! Never rushes and really cares enough to get to know a patient and remembers all about you. And doesn't sit in front of a computer the whole time barely looking at you like some docs now do! I can't recommend Dr Keller highly enough and another physician friend thinks highly enough about Dr K to recommend him to me.
The best medical clinic I ever visted. The staff is super friendly and Dr. Roach is a kind and helpful Dr., couldn't find any better. Lisa on the nursing staff was wonderful and took care of all my needs and questions. This will be my clinic as long as it's in exsistence.. Pat Berry, a well please patient
