I had a number of test done here and have been to the ER on a number of times and they are always friendly and helpful. The staff took great care of me and made me feel secure when I was worried. The hospital is very clean. I highly recommend.
Worst experience that I have ever had with a health care professional. I saw Dr. John Washburn. First of all, when I came in with nausea I was offered NOTHING to satiate my symptoms. I had to wait an hour while he ran two tests, all while running to the bathroom multiple times to vomit. He was cold and unwelcoming in the exam room and acted like he was in a hurry to get me out the door. He then MISDIAGNOSED me with the flu. I spent a week at home miserable attempting to recover before being hospitalized and re-diagnosed with pneumonia. When listening to my chest he didn't even lift up my sweatshirt. Last I checked breath sounds were not clearly heard through any sort of clothing, let alone a thick sweatshirt. I told him that I was experiencing chest pain and he told me it was probably from all the coughing. THE SYMPTOMS WERE PRESENT AND HE IGNORED THEM. When I tried to bring him my comparative X-rays from the hospital he refused to look at them. The man does not even do his own call backs to his patients and rather has his staff complete them. This left me with a very uninformative call from a receptionist who stated over and over "I don't know, it's not in his notes." Needless to say I would NEVER EVER go back to that doctor and I would recommend no one seek his care.
I had surgery on my knee at the hospital with Dr. Haslam. It was a wonderful experience. Dr. Haslam has great bedside manner, he explained everything in a way that I could understand and really put me at ease about the surgery. All of the nurses were wonderful, they were very attentive and made sure I was comfortable. The nurse in the recovery room kept my pain at a tolerable level and was very attentive to me and my family. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone.
I wanted to have my annual mammogram with 3D technology and just had the best experience at Centennial. Check in was quick and easy and the staff was "johnny on the spot". No wait and I was taken straight back by the Mammo tech Nicole. She was so sweet and the comfort pad they used, well, I didn't feel a thing. The doctor came in, discussed results and I was on my way. No complaints here!
I had the terrible pleasure of having to deal with an uncaring, pretentious, self-rightous, know it all,who actually new nothing, and her name was Lori Carlough. She needs to work in a morgue and not a hospital for the living. Some nurses are truly loving people and she is not one of them.
