The worst retail experience of my life! 3 days ago I put in my script for transfer from another pharmacy. Nobody ever called like they were supposed to when it came in so I went into the pharmacy to check myself. I get there and find that not only did they give me the wrong prescription for one life or death medication but they didn't bother to even fill another life or death medication. They couldn't get my insurance to cover it so I guess assumed I was broke and just tossed it out instead of filling it. Of course I have been using this medication for 7 years and know for a fact it is covered, it turns out it was their distributor. After changing some information it was lo and behold covered, only they didn't even have the meds. This should have been dealt with DAYS ago! After a VERY long wait I ended up walking out with temp meds and the correct medication. It took a total of 45 minutes, during that time they screwed up several other orders and I heard "your insurance won't cover it" at least twice. I would say it was just a bad day for the pharmacy but considering I had to wait 20 minutes to turn the script in when I was the ONLY person there I would say not. I should have gone with my gut that day and gone to Wal-Mart. And honestly, I never saw the day I would choose Wal-Mart over a pharmacy. Update: Went back in for a refill called in by the doctor, TWICE...guess what? THEY DIDN'T HAVE IT. Stay away, stay far far away!
