Terrible experience just trying to get my husband in for an appointment. I spoke to the receptionist (Theresa) several times to get my husband's records from a previous doctor sent over. I was told the doctor would look at them as soon as they came in for him to decide whether or not to take my husband as a new patient. I called to confirm the records had been sent over (they had) and then waited almost an entire day before calling back to see if he had looked at them only for her to tell me he wasn't in and wouldn't be back until the middle of next week! That would have been nice to know from the beginning before I went to the previous doctor, signed a medical release, and called lake pointe several times to figure out what all was needed to be seen. It was made VERY clear that I needed to get my husband in the same day or at the least the very next day for an assessment. Ridiculous customer service and an extreme lack of useful information all around.
I first met Dr Aldrich and his team in 2008. At that time my right shoulder was beginning to hurt when I used it as I always had but then I couldn't perform normal daily tasks due to the stabbing pain. The doctor performed arthroscopic surgery on my right shoulder and his team did the follow-up physical therapy. It was a complete success and I regained full use and motion. So when I started to feel the same pain and limited motion in my left arm I again went back to Dr Aldrich in September, 2014. Again he and his team Lake Pointe Orthopaedics along with the professionals at Texas Health Presbyterian Rockwall did an exceptional job. It's been two months since my surgery and I'm completing the last of my Physical Therapy and feel great! I highly recommend Lake Pointe Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine and Texas Health Presbyterian Rockwall based on my experiences over the last 7 years. I'm confident they will provide excellent care and help you get back to your pain free healthy life. Larry Tuttle
Went for my second visit follow-up and was not even looked at by Dr. Aldrich. Instead he stood outside the door in the hallway and waited for the PA to relay information back and forth. Here's a tip Dr. Aldrich, you might want to personally look at your patients progress on follow up visits instead of loitering in the hallway. I'll use another orthopedic doctor in the future who seems to care about their patients.
Best ortho docs in the metro area. U got a bone problem. Go to them!
