Dr. Cuevas was there for me when I broke my tooth. Not only did she get me out of pain, but she fixed my tooth so good, it looks better than before! A friend of mine recommended Dr. Cuevas to me. He has been a patient of hers for 10 years, and when he moved out of town for work for a couple of years, he drove in to SA just for his dental appointments. THAT says a lot!!! I always thought he was crazy to do that, but now I know why. I'm a faithful patient for life!! Thank you Dr. Cuevas for taking such great care of my teeth.

Other reviewers who stated that Dr. Cuevas' office will charge you far above your insurance coverage were completely correct. I had read the reviews and thought that they (the reviewers) probably were just not familiar with their benefits. I was wrong! Two visits and $500 later, my insurance (which covers visits, preventative, restorative etc) was worthless even with Dr. Cuevas being assigned as my only dental provider through the network. The first visit, I filled out all the necessary paperwork which blatanly states that you should expect to pay more than your insurance covers and will be required to pay the ENTIRE amount in full each visit w/ no financing or you will not be given another appointment, plus appointments made but cancelled due to financial reasons will be charged as though you received the services under which you booked the appointment! The assistant (who I can only assume is going to school still) was informed that I had a tooth that had broken in half and several fillings that had fallen out during my recent, past pregnancy. I expected being chided for not seeing the dentist during that time, but did not expect to her the assistant tell me that flossing doesn't really do anything. ??? Dr. Cuevas came in and within 2 minutes has used a machine to clean my teeth, said she must see me within two weeks for x-rays and a treatment plan or they'd have to start all over. Needless to say, I was a little shocked, but decided maybe they weren't prepared for my major dental work. The entire visit even as I was leaving the office she tried to convince me to get my teeth whitened...even though hers were more bluish than white. A week later the office called to ask if I had made a $200 payment. After explaining I had, they realized they had credited my $200 payment to someone else. Luckily I had paid by credit card. The next visit Dr. Cuevas cleaned my teeth again! Then finally really examined my teeth and scolded me for not telling them about my broken tooth!!! The assistant, Dr. Cuevas and the scheduler ALL knew about it! They took regular bitewing x-rays and referred me to an endontist for my broken tooth. Oh, and the assistant flossed my teeth. Again, the entire visit the assistant pushed and pushed for me to agree to teeth whitening. That's all I got for $500 with an insurance plan that covers the visits, the cleaning, the planning, periodontal care, x-rays, anesthesia, and on, and on and on.... I think Dr. Cuevas herself is probably a talented dentist, but everything else more than overshadowed any benefit I could see. Find someone else unless you have loads of money to spend.
