Worst glasses I've ever had. After about 2 years a "frost" formed around the edges of the lenses. Went somewhere else for my new glasses. A bad experience.
I have been a patient of Dr Leesang since she first opened her location in the shopping center off of 281 and Stone Oak Pkwy. Her location is very nice and very clean inside. The employees there are also very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Dr Leesang identified a defect in my eye, it has been there since birth, I have had several other Opticians but Dr Leesang was the only one to identify, and treat it. I have recommended Dr Leesang to all of my coworkers and family members.
I used this business because they were part of my insurance plan. While the doctor was very nice, her staff is COMPLETELY incompetent and practically fraudulent with respect to my eyeglasses order. After waiting several weeks with no word on the status of my eyeglasses, I called to inquire. A woman on the phone informed me that because of a back order problem with the insurance lab, they decided to "do me a favor" and send the lab their showroom pair of glasses instead of waiting on a new pair. I could not believe my ears. How anyone could think that issuing a showroom pair of frames as though they were new is downright FRAUD. I paid good money for a NEW set of frames, and they had a responsibility to fulfill this order. End of discussion. I will NEVER EVER do business with this place again and will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau today.
At any optical, you buy frames from what is on the shelf. Much like buying shoes at a shoe store (ala Academy) or buying clothes at any clothing store or buying a new car at a dealership. All these things are test driven by customers and BRAND NEW.
