I recently broke a tooth that I had capped in the 70's . My dentist presented me with several plans of action and we both agreed that the best was to remove the remainder of this tooth and have an implant installed. He referred me to Dr. Scruggs and I am glad he did. I was given a very thorough examination accompanied with detailed x-rays. Kim very diligently calculated the associated costs and insurance coverage then made an appointment for the procedure that fit my schedule. The day before the procedure I was contacted to confirm my attendance and then again later in the day I received another call following up on me to remind me of necessary preparation for the next day. Today I was greeted with a smile and Dr Scruggs performed the procedure. He took extra time before to putting me to sleep to explain the details or the procedure and answer any of my questions. An hour and a half later Shelby escorted me to our car and through her giggles ( I suppose I was a bit comical coming out from under the effects of anesthesia ) gave further instructions to me and my wife. Six hours later I received a follow thru call from Shelby at Dr Scruggs' office to check on my progress. It is so comforting to receive genuine caring service like this .
