Shopping late on Monday evening after a movie with my 19 year old daughter, the cashier would not allow me to purchase the bottle of wine I wanted for a hostess gift... because my "under age" daughter was with me and had "touched" the bottle. WHAT? Are you kidding me? And to think she had just watched an "R" rated movie with me, but couldn't "touch" a bottle of wine that I was buying???

I've never been disappointed shopping here. They do offer some local items that other stores do not and they carry a few items that I absolutely can't find elsewhere. I look forward to the new H-T opening in Lightfoot. Excellent customer service.

This store is super-convenient for our family, but we love it because of the excellent, personal customer service and the great "hidden" deals. Michelle, one of the managers, asks personally about my wife and children each time I am in the store, and she has delivered time and again any time I have had an issue. We love the Monday night pizza deal ($7.99 for a LARGE pizza that is excellent). Prices are not rock-bottom, but the store has great variety, is open 24/7, and is always clean, so I expect to pay a bit of a premium for all of that. On that topic, recognize that you will not get the best prices unless you sign up for, and use, their affinity program (VIC). All in all, I wouldn't trade this store for a different chain.

Terrible store. Go to the one in Newport News instead. All of these people giving it five stars have too much money and not enough sense.
