Terrible hospital they treat certain people like animals. I have seen some extremely unprofessional things happen there that should not happen to any person rich poor white black. They don't care about patients its all about $$$ that's it nothing more than a business. I'd give 0 stars but google won't allow it. Avoid this place if at all possible go to Fletcher Allen or Dartmouth it is a wiser choice over these jokers. It doesn't matter why you need help its supposed to be about needing help and they will profile people as bad as the LAPD does. Serious violation of patient rights as they have a room directly near intake where all supposed confidential information can be clearly heard. Stay away from them unless its absolutely life threatening and you can't afford an hour ride to Dartmouth or if you don't want your privacy or identity stolen.
Worst hospital in the North East. Literally the WORST HOSPITAL in the North East. This place is a god-damn joke. My mother was rushed to the ER at 1:30 AM about 5 nights ago and they did not do the surgery unil 7 PM that night, thus causing her appendix to RUPTURE. the Rutland Hospital is without a doubt THE WORST Hospital in the North East, AT LEAST in the North East. A 5 Story Hospital with ONE surgical team? What a joke. Guess that's what happens when you give local Danbodians, Wallyworld nut balls, and Rutland slime a medical license.
Came in with my dad at 11pm because he was having some serious pains in his ribs. From the moment we walked in we were serviced quick and by 2 am had a complete diagnosis after performing a EKG. Very nice staff and excellent service. good thing too because the nearest hospital after Rutland is 2 hrs away
Had Mom in the ER today, what a great experience after spending a day in a different ER two days before. Nice private room, very kind and capable nurses and technicians, great doctor who explained the tests to be done and why. Following all procedures the doctor came in and was very thorough in explaining results. While waiting for discharge, this nice gentleman came to the room and introduced himself as the director of the ER and he wanted to know how things had gone for us today....we said we were just waiting for her IV to be removed and then meds and discharge. He was very interested in our experience in the ER. Two minutes after he left the room, two nurses came in and finished up and we were out the door. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this Emergency Room for anything.....except maybe a sunburn (because I would not use the ER for a sunburn)
a good place to visit if you want to die
