My uncle is at Liberty. I live in Alaska, so having him in a facility so far from me has been stressful. I drove there straight from the airport, and was pleasantly surprised that the place was so clean. The food smells pretty good, and he has no complaints in that department. All of the employees have been very helpful. While I was there, they assisted with things, some outside the scope of their jobs, and I will be forever grateful. They assisted us with paperwork so that I have power of attorney. I get very regular calls regarding his condition and care. The employees are, of course, there for the paycheck, but they are also there because they care for the patients and residents. I have been in some pretty rotten facilities and was so pleasantly surprised. Thank you all, for everything you have been doing, to assist my uncle with dignity and care. I love my grumpy bear very much, and it's been hard to be so far away. Of course there are things he and I would love to change, but you are doing a lot with the resources you have available. I hope to be back in a few weeks!
My mother is a 66yr old who has suffered from numerous strokes, I utilize this facility when I am going out of town or just need a break from each other. The staff there is always very kind to my mom, she has been going there for about 6 yrs now and they always remember her and greet her with a smile and hug. Toni in the admitting office is always right on top of things the min I call helping me to get my mom all set up. My mom enjoys going here as well. I have worked in several nursing homes and believe me this is by far one of the nicest I have seen. For those whom had a bad experience, I am sorry to hear that but overall Liberty is a great alternative to your home.
People in here get treated like dogs! Very rude and unsympathetic employees! Just remember, karma will get u!
