I can say with confidence that I have been completely unsatisfied with Digestive Health here in Federal Way. I have been a patient for about 2 years now with Crohn's disease. The front desk staff is polite, wait time is minimal but the doctors I have seen, which have been a few, have been unwilling to listen to my concerns. They just kept telling me to stick to my infusions and didn't care that I was still constantly in pain and bleeding. My infusions only made me feel worse, which is why I stopped getting them. The doctors gave me 3 different colonoscopies within a years time and while there was evidence of swelling and pain, they refused to give me pain medications, they said it was up to my primary doctor to do that. So I went to my primary who refused to give pain medication because she didnt know the details of my Crohn's. I understand that pain medications are not to be used as a solution however, they weren't even considered as an option for me when I was in obvious severe pain and discomfort. The reason I stuck around for 2 years is because my doctor told me there were no other gastroenterologists in Washington state, well turns out there IS and I am switching. From the experience I have had, it seems like the doctors here just aren't very caring and understanding.
