The Everett Clinic: Brett Schweizer, DO

Too much to put in writing. First I make the attempt to get a primary doctor in this area since Kent is too far to go. It was confirmed on the phone that the doctor they had chose for me could handle my care and my chronic pain regiment (which is pretty mild) But I have to wait to see her. In the mean time I have to go to urgent care since my back was very painful and I wanted to make sure nothing was wrong. The doctor I had seen was very stressed and rude. He did not even examine me, he just gave me a script and told me not to come back cause he cant write another (I never asked him too). I end up later in emergency care with an MRI and find that there was a big issue. I have to follow up at this clinic so the (primary) is not available so I see a doctor that is considered (not an on staff dr. but one that helps everywhere) he examines me thoroughly, prescribes me pain pills and tells me if I need a refill to just call the clinic and it can be refilled. So I run out 3 days before my appointment but am told when I called they would not refill until I see the primary and be established. The said that dr was wrong. So my appointment comes and the pain thickens. She did not examine me at all, not even blood pressure (which I take pills for). She tells me she cant write a script to refill for me and that is the policy there she knows since she wrote it. She asked if I needed BP pills but did not take my BP. So strange. So did I get treated this way because I was on state insurance? So they pay her and she does not even examine me?? In the end, I ended up with surgery and told that I had a cyst between the bundle of nerves and my spine along with spinal stenosis, which explains why I had so much pain for so long. Needless to say that due to the delay it is taken a little longer to heal and I am sticking to my primary in Kent where they care about the care you are receiving.
