Yoke's Fresh Market

Watch your products as they are being rung up at the register!! I have had SEVERAL incidents of being OVERCHARGED only to discover it after getting home and upon calling to complain to be abruptly/rudely told "I'm sorry we'll rectify if when you come back into the store." With the price of gas do you really think I am going to make a special trip to collect a couple of bucks? I'll avoid shopping at Yokes unless I absolutely have to.
Upscale for this area. Prices are high, but not that far above other full service grocers. I buy dairy-free products at Yoke's. Yoke's is the nearest location where I can buy cheese substitutes, sour cream substitutes, cream cheese substitutes, and other high quality dairy replacements. I wish there was a larger selection, but given the size of our area this is more than adequate.
When I first moved here, I asked around where a good supermarket was.... I was told Yoke's. Everyone even commented on their organic section. Everything in here is overpriced and their sale prices are about the price what most grocery stores charge on a regular basis... Tonight I wanted to get some Odwalla or Naked Juice.... There was nothing like it in there. Went through the organic section, looking for something similar... Nothing came close to those juices, and the prices were an astronomical $8 a bottle... Whoa! There organic section is all right, but very limited. Most of the fish in their seafood section, looks like it has been sitting out for a very long time. I just don't see the quality up to par with their pricing. So disappointed. Road 68 only has Wal Mart and Yoke's right now, but when they get another decent grocery store, I predict many people will switch over.
Very overpriced compared to other grocery stores in town I think but to avoid some of the rift raft we have in this town it is worth it just to avoid them. :-)
