I just returned home from my appointment. Started 25 minutes late. No apology. I am sure that the employee that did the initial exam was either 1. having a bad day or 2. normally treats people as numbers rather than patients. They put drop drops in my eyes and failed to tell me they would blur my vision for 3-4 hours. They also fails to tell me that I would need sunglasses when I left the office to drive home. I made the appointment specifically to get a prescription for contact lenses. I told them this twice prior top the visit. After I had already committed my time and I now had drops put in my eyes I was told that if I wanted to get a fitting for contacts I would have to pay $150. I think this is a really poor way to sell services. Associated Eye Care had multiple opportunities to let me know that they charged $150 to provide a contact lens exam. They chose not to tell me until I had committed 3 hours worth of my time and had my vision blurred.
