Lousy customer service in the tire and lube center. I showed up at 5pm for an oil change, and they close at 6 (or 5:30 by their standards). They told me there's a long wait when there wasn't, just so they can close and go home early. I was obviously inconveniencing them by patronizing them during normal business hours. Go somewhere else because these people could care less about a customer.
Drove 200 miles to Casper, needed a full set of tires for our Durango. Picked out the tires , got the order. Tire shop was not busy at all. So we opted to shop around while waiting. Almost an hour passed went to check on the progress of the work order. Vehicle still not in, was informed that they were bringing it in shortly. Shop around about 45 minutes, phone rings, do we want white wall in or out. So we are figuring that we should be on our way in 30 minutes or so. No problem. Then I get another call telling me that they will not be able to install the tires cause we had a few bad lug nuts. Really , it is now after 6 P.M. we are 200 miles from home all other shops are closed .So we are forced to get a room and spend another $100 with still no tires. They however offered to sell them to us and we could take them somewhere else to have them put on. Isn't that what a tire shop does. I understand Wal-mart policy but if you are not going to be able to perform a job due to policy , then you should send someone out to check the lug nuts before you keep a customer waiting 2 hrs. Especially since we told them we were from out of town and couldn't make the trip back without them. However, the tire mechanic was really nice and she apologized for not being able to help us. Big O had no problem getting the lug nuts off and getting us a new set the next morning. We were in Big O for about an hour, that's including the time it took them to go get us the lug nuts from an auto parts store. Plus we got our tires and new set of lug nuts for about $120 cheaper
I brought my van in for an oil change. I got it back and noticed they broke the hood release. Months later I tried to get my oil changed somewhere else. They told me the oil plug is screwed in so tight they can't get it out. It's going to cost me $700 to replace the oil pan!
The older guy who stands at the front of the store watching all the checkout clerks is a real jerk. I don't know if he is the manager but I hope not especially with the people skills he exhibited. I asked him for some help and he looked at me like I was trash. I assure you I did not wear my pjs to the store and I'm college educated (probably unlike him). I asked him one simple question and he not only responded in a rude manner but had no time for me. Next time I go I will check his name and add another appropriate review. I cannot imagine having to report to such a jerk and the check-out clerks are very friendly and helpful. SHAME ON YOU!
Horrible horrible horrible service in the tire center. The staff was rude and condecending. I will never return to their store again.
