Massages are ok and they do direct billing BUT they have serious problems with customer service and processing / recording payments. They normally ask some details to put on your file in order to save time next appointment, but something goes wrong and you have to give the same details over and over again. I gave them my new credit card number twice, but they still have in the file an old one even if they told me that they did update properly. Once I got asked to pay again a difference of just 5$ that my insurance didn't cover. I did and had receipt of that, but on next appointement I got asked to pay it again because made same mistake in the system ---> A good business could avoid it and leave you the benefit of the doubt since my wife and I were returning customers. I decided to use less the service. Last time I did a massage, I realized my employer terminated my coverage from benefits before last paystub. So SAME DAY I received the notification, I offered to pay with my credit card the full amount by phone, I did and received the receipt, BUT after a while I got another email to ask me to pay (again?). ---> A good business check all the records and details, before asking to charge my credit card again. I am pretty upset of that.

Not only are Lara and all of the staff talented practitioners, but the setting is warm and comfortable and the online booking process saves valuable time and effort!

My husband and I love The Self Centre! They are professional, always on time, and the best part is they direct bill Great West Life for us so we never pay out of pocket for our visits! The therapists always ask us a lot of questions about how we are feeling and specific problems we would like addressed and they consistently provide us with relaxing and therapeutic treatments. We leave each visit feeling like new people. I am so happy to have found The Self Centre! They have 2 loyal customers for life!

I have been going to Lara for Massage at the Self Centre since 2004. She has taken care of me through stress, injury, pregnancy etc. Her staff is always respectful, friendly and helpful. Recently I tried Acupuncture with Stephanie. I was nervous but she explained everything and was gentle. I will go back for more and recommend friends. The Self Centre is very clean and welcoming. Lara also carries great products, quite often I will tell her what is bothering me, she always recommends great products and quite often carries them.

Great service! The ladies here are really therapeutic, the best I have had...and I have had A LOT of massages. I have been with Glynis and Laura and both are amazingly intuitive to your body. I also get acupuncture here and was skeptical at first but it has really helped with my lower back and shoulder pain.
