Dawson Dental is a one stop shop for all your dental needs. There is always a friendly smile at the front counter when you arrive. I recently had an implant done and was very impressed with the procedure. I was a little nervous at first but asked some questions and gathered some information from their web site. The pain thresh hold was next to nothing compared to other procedures I have had done. I received my new crown yesterday and it looks just like my real tooth. I am very pleased with the procedure. I have been petrified of going to the dentist since youth. I had to have asleep surgery to have my work done the first trip to Dr. Gelfand. He and the staff were amazing! I have since had to have a root canal and only needed mild sedative. Dr. Gelfand is so good at his job and gentle that I have learned to relax and have further work with confidence .I can't say enough about the staff and the work Dr. Gelfand does. I highly recommend them .So glad I found them..

What I wrote their office.... Good Day, I would like to commend you office on my first experience with your dental office at 89 Dawson Rd. As soon as I came in for my appointment I was greeted professionally and promptly. It made me feel as that my business was appreciated. Also, I was in a circumstance where my benefits were coming to an end this week and needed to get 3 fillings done. Your office was able to squeeze me and promised to complete one filling as they were fully booked. After seeing Dr. Shaker and Natasha they advised me that my allotted time was not able to fit in 3 fillings. It was the end of their work day and Dr. Shakers assistant had gone home for the day. To my surprise Dr. Shaker was compassionate about my situation as was Natasha and they both volunteered their time to stay back after their work day and complete all three fillings. This was not only going above and beyond especially as I was a first time patient but it was also 120% customer service. If I was not leaving Guelph to obtain new employment I would make Dawson Dental my permanent Dental office. I wanted to take the time to say thank you to your office staff but especially to Dr. Shaker and Natasha for going above and beyond when they didn't have to. Thank You again and Have a great day!
