Bought glasses at Pearl Vision in November 2012. Paid over $300 for them, with all of the fancy coatings that come along with these nowadays, figuring that it must be good quality. The scratch-resistant coating started coming off about 2 months ago, creating this tiny annoyance right in front of my left eye. I went to the store to see if they could refund them, and the employee responded that they were over 2 years old, and no. He then proceeded to attempt to pressure sale me into buying a new pair in the latest fashion! Since then, they are 10x worse, with a huge band of worn scratch resistant coating across my lens. My recommendation, do NOT go to Pearl Vision. Another great example of planned obsolescence.

I bought glasses several times at Pearl Vision Northgate Mall, They are extremely expensive and poor on customer service. A pair scratched badly, and I had paid for the ani scratch and a lot of extras $450.00 for one pair of glasses I went into the store and showed the defective lenses to the clerk who was to pass on to the manager my concerns. I never heard back, so when I needed new glasses went to an independently owned optician in downtown north bay I was very disappointed in Pearl Visions quality and lack of service
