Purchased a few items and accidentally left a bag of grapes behind. Called the store when I got home. Spoke to Kristen - excellent CS rep - said the grapes weren't turned in, however, if I came back with my receipt WM would refund the grapes and I could repurchase another bag. She stated she would note my name in their "Communication Binder" to inform Karen - as I would only be able to return the following day and Kristen would not be there. Fast forward to the following day, grabbed the grapes I was required to repurchase and make my way to Customer Service. Spoke to Karen, who grabbed the binder, however, nothing was recorded. Karen took the grapes, said she would weigh them. I saw her speaking to a manager; they conversed for a few minutes and then Karen said I didn't have to pay for them. While one would think "awesome", it was the manner in which she conveyed this message. When I expressed the fact that I would pay for them, the manager she was speaking with said - "it's ok". It's hard to convey the fact that both employees made me feel like I was stealing, or pulling a con job. No "don't worry about it", "it's all good", "doesn't seem to be anything recorded, but we'll take care of it", "ok, let's do the reimbursement and repurchase"...nothing. They basically said - F'U - you liar, without coming out and saying F'U you liar. Honestly, if I was going to con - it wouldn't be over a $3 bag of frigging grapes.

My overall experience at Walmart is usually very good. Today it was rainy and cold. We has had some very nice warm weather.Everyone was feeling cold, damp, and quite disappointed about the weather. Walking into the store a greeter named Paulette (I do not know her personally I read her name tag) approached me to welcome me. She was wearing a gardening apron,,complete with tools and a big hat with flowers on it. She said she was not giving up on Spring. I laughed out loud and felt warm and happy. Thanks Paulette you made my day..

I heard about Chiquita before and it was mostly bad. Apparently, conditions on their plantations in SA are deplorable, currently they are in US courts charged with supporting terrorism and they actively fight against Canada. I am not an activist but I will certainly stop buying Walmart - bananas and everything else.

Some times busy but then so is the mall but over all good service from the pharmacy :)
