I love shopping here except every time I need a western union transaction they always tell me their computer is down and they are not sure when it will be up again. I've been there on 3 different occasions to use their western union service. I am beginning to wonder if their staff is being lazy or just will not take the time to do a western union transaction. Why do you offer that service if you wont provide it to the customer? I had to go to a nearby competitor for my western union transactions and they seem like they never have any problems. I already called their corporate headquarters in phoenix about this store. I hope they took care of the problem. It's a pain to be told more than 3 times that our system is down and we have to drive elsewhere.

Nice store but you can tell they're short staffed. You can really tell when a store has more business than it can handle and this store needs more front end people. I work in retail and they're always calling people to check every 20mins.

I've been shopping here since I moved to Goodyear in 2003. The staff is always very friendly and the store is clean. I've tried other stores in the area, but I always end up coming back to Safeway. They carry many items and brands that I can't find anywhere else in the area and their store brands like Lucerne, O Organics and Safeway Select are really delicious. They have room for improvement when it comes to fish and seafood; I have to go to Albertson's for that. My only real complaint is the occasional long check-out lines.

Only one toilet out of four was clean, the sinks weren't pleasant ether. The pharmacy is very good, they are nice and knowledgeable. They have also remembered our names when I had only been here once.
