Switched my daughter to a new pediatrician. The nurses were unfriendly and one in particular looked like she didn't know what she was doing. Worst experience ever when I learned she was going to give my child shots!! She seemed too nervous and uneasy. I'm glad I switched!
Long waits even with very little patients in the office...
Have been to a few around town and finally found a REAL doctor, not just a robot who can't speak English and can't explain anything, like most I have found. I was recommended to go see Dr. Barone at this office, my neighbor said he was new to this office and he was great. WOW was she not kidding. I am not a young girl, I am 40 years old and have seen many doctors in my day. I wish this man would treat me as well. My teenage girls think he is just awesome and I couldn't agree more. Everything he said in our first visit made perfect sense. I think my girls will really enjoy seeing him for the next few years until they kick us out because my girls get too old for the pediatrician, but he said he would see us as long as they want and as long as our insurance lets us stay with Pediatrician. Well I have news for doctor Barone, I called my insurance (BC/BS) and they said they can see him for as long as he will keep them. We're not going anywhere for a long, long time. thank you so much Marta for sending us to Dr. Barone.
Update! Called yesterday and spoke to billing manager, forgot his name. Said he would review the file AGAIN with Desiree and get back to me. Guess what, no return call again. I have all the proof that they owe me an overpayment refund since 2009! I am hoping that Gary Harper from channel 3 on your side can help! Update! June 2, 2011 and still no check! Billing says these things take time! I wish we had our $125.74, would make for some happier kids at Disneyland then with Dr. Carrazco, his wife, and family! Thanks Doc! Office is great, billing is another topic. We have been trying to get our money after paying too much for quite some time now. Last interaction they asked for proof we paid the amount stated on their EOB, so I had to track down a copy of the check from my bank. Latest reason, after they tried to stick me with another bill from more than a year ago, was that the owner had not been in to approve and sign the check, SINCE January!! If we ever do get our money, I will be surprised. I am sure if the reverse was happening, we would be in collections at this point.
We are happy with out visits here. It isn't in Las Sendas, so don't expect there to be waterfalls in the front office with extravagant paintings on the wall. We have always had proper attention while visiting this office. The Doctors are some of the friendliest once a relationship has been established. Arrive on time so that there aren't any discrepancies during you visit cause this office is normally busy.
