I worked at the neighborhood market on grant&alvernon in 2006-2007;however,i perfer to go to this 22nd location instead! The cashiers are more happy to see their customers then any other walmart

I bought broccoli that I discovered was infested with grey bugs inside and waited in a long line to return it. I was told by Vicki that they don't accept returns past 10pm even though I've successfully returned other bug-filled broccoli and other bad produce I've gotten there far later than 10pm. The "ad match" rarely works at this store because anytime there is a good sale on they won't stock that item or put out stuff of inedible quality. I can also testify that Ruben is one of the rudest cashiers I've ever encountered. I refuse to go through his line. I pointed out that he had overcharged me then he insulted my intelligence and tried to deny the blatantly obvious. I had to get a manager to refund me. They are routinely out of things and it often takes several days for them to restock. Long lines. No hand-baskets. Until recently the buggy situation was really messed up. You could hardly get a decent one at all. Now they've added a bunch more, but still kept the awful ones too. You cannot count on this place for produce because they often put out stuff that is of horrible quality (even for Tucson). The only thing nice I can really say about this store is that Frank has always been professional and helpful to me.

First of all this store has limited stock and variety. It is always crowded. Tehy do not like to do ad matches on competitors as advertised. I had gone to a cashier who was an older woman. Didnt seem very happy to help me or even say hi or how are you or anything to acknowledge me as a customer. I had a few adf matches and when I tild her about them she seemed really irritated with me. The boneless country style ribs offered at another store they would not honor as "their" ribs had "sirloing" on their label. I am sure this was labeled this way for the purpose of not honoring the ad. The whole chicken I tried to ad match they would not honor either. Said they did not have a "store brand" as the competitor was offering their store brand on sale. HMMMMM.. why would walmart have a store brand in chicken. The manager herslef was not very friendly either. She was actually nasty as well as the cashier. I was just about done checking out and they would not honor the pricing. I left my whole order there and they let me walk out. I guess they dont need my business there. I will go to another walmart that appreciates their customers.

There was a cashier named Ruben, the guy was overall rude and spoke to us as if he was better than us. He was condescending, and made smart remarks. Management should definitely do something about this, is this the face Walmart wants representing them??

This is got to be the very worse Walmart in the country! I travel an extra 5 miles to the next Walmart or just go to all the other stores to avoid this store! Price match nightmare, funny if it's on sale somewhere else you probably will find that it's out of stock at this store! I have tried to shop at this store a number of times only to end up having to go to other stores to finish the shopping so WHY BOTHER??? Customer service is just as bad and I rarely find a smiling face. Grrrrrrr just thinking about this place no upsets me. You've been warned.
