*** NEWS FLASH *** The ophthalmologist will no longer SEE me! Is that ironic or what? Because I experienced inconsiderate and poor customer service at a previous appointment [I was given an inflexible early morning appointment time for what took their tech all of ten seconds to make a minuscule adjustment to my prescription glasses] and because I submitted a written letter of complaint in response [in vain hope that they might improve their customer service skills], I HAVE BEEN REFUSED AN APPOINTMENT SEVEN YEARS LATER!!! The office manager acerbically asserts that they do not wish to continue with a bad relationship. Seems as though they are doing their utmost to continue with just that. All I can say is that it's their loss. I will take my business (paying cash without delay) elsewhere, and I'll be sure to remember to NEVER speak up if I am treated inconsiderately in the future. [Right.] I actually had no complaints about the doctor during the earlier multiple times I was treated by Dr. Fleming for having shingles in my right eye. I would like to have him evaluate my eyes currently, and to update my prescription lenses. Is that too much to ask of an ophthalmologist? It's not that I cannot see, but I have been banned from seeing him! Really??? I do know that there are other ophthalmologists a mere 45 miles and two hours away, each way. I guess I'll take that short and sweet drive over to SEE one of them. I thought I'd SEEN bad customer service before, but I had not SEEN any like this! Leave it to the staff of an eye doctor to MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR that I am persona non grata because I dared to shed some light on matters they prefer left in the dark.
