Walgreens Store Grass Valley
Reviews
This pharmacy would have been 5 stars if I'd rated it in January, 2014. I had used the Marysville Walgreens a few times in the past, and their efficiency was impressive. Since Walgreens was on the list of money-saving pharmacies for medicare, our family transferred all of our mother's prescriptions from Kmart to the GV Walgreens. In recent months, Grass Valley has become very slow. The staff looks frustrated, one has been "snippy", and everyone seems frazzled. I don't understand what the problem is here in Grass Valley, but I wish they'd take a few lessons from the long established Marysville pharmacy. This rating is on its way downward.
As a new customer, I had questions. The staff couldn't get me off the phone quick enough. They didn't answer my questions, wouldn't tell me when the prescription would be done, wouldn't tell me how much it would be, nothing. Stay far away VERY RUDE.
It can take them a looong time to get your prescription, and the won't always tell you when they do have it. I feel like the staff used to be much more friendly than they are now. They're generic versions of one of my medications was almost $150! I could get a generic version of that drug for $15 at Walmart. That's just bad business. Honestly, it's not the worst place but if you can, go somewhere else.
Nightmare!!! Prescriptions are consistently never ready when they say it will be. It seems they are way understaffed. Wish I could go back to Rite-aid or CVS but my insurance charges more for out of network.
Frustrating! Why is it so difficult to find the pharmacy hours on the web page?
