Yubadocs Urgent Care
Reviews
Had to go to Yubadocs recently for a worker's comp injury. The staff were constantly courteous and the doctors competent and supportive. Running a little emergency care office like this has plenty of challenges. Yubadocs does an outstanding job of addressing them.
I have been to Yuba Docs many times over the years for emergencies. Once an exatco knife slipped and went through the ball of my thumb. Another time I was badly burned on the hand with melted silver. Each time I was treated with kindness and expert care. I highly recommend Dr. Hicks and his staff.
What ever happened to small business owners valuing there customers and having integrity? This place has gone from bad to alright back to bad or even worse. I have had to go there throughout the years either as a patient or with someone who was and with the exception of one employee Loren, which from what I have been heard they treated so poorly that she eventually walked out, every experience I have had has been awful. The owners must be totally greedy, thoughtless and most of all idiots if they think they are providing good service to the patients or our community. If they cant even realize and hold on to the one amazing employee they had, then I am not sure how they expect to hold on to patients. I guess the owner's are just lucky they don't have any competition besides the hospital ER on evenings and weekends and thanks to the over population of patients to doctor ratio in this community, most weekdays too. It's just too bad they must have realized that and it shows in the service they provide. As I said, Loren was the only employee that I always had a great experience with and who seemed to know what she was talking about and how to explain it so I understood. Without her working there I won't go back and tell everyone I know not to. You are better off going to the ER because you will end up spending a bunch of money for stuff you have no idea what or why your doing it and then you end up leaving the same way you came in except more confused, with less money and you still don't know what's wrong with you. These owners need to wake up and stop being so worried about the almighty dollar and worry more about providing sympathetic care and employing knowledgeable, helpful kind employees that stay there permanently because they don't run them off. I'm surprised they are even still open.
I have been treated by the PA's Wargala and Veers and I'm pleased to say at 43 years of age I have never received such quality medical care! I consider them both my "Doctors" and have never even seen Dr. Hicks myself. I was first treated by Alyssa Wargala (at the AUburn Emergency care facility) for a back injury and when all the other "doctors" wrote me off as just wanting pain meds (despite my repeated insistence I did NOT want to be on them) it was only PA Wargala prescribed for me a new nerve medication typically prescribed for Fibromyalgia that not only instantly abated my pain but instantly blocked all the cravings and addictions to the pain killers I was taking. I feel she saved my life, literally, and I can not speak highly enough of her! After moving to Grass Valley, I was seen for a while by Gillian Veers who gave me equally good care and then to my surprise, Allysa joined Yuba Docs and I now feel I have TWO doctors I can see at any time. Again, I can not speak highly enough of either doctor who have always patiently listened to every issue I have and have treated my with the utmost respect and consideration, never making me feel rushed. And I'll admit the wait time without an appointment can be quite a long time, I've taken to scheduling appointments and I have been seen very quickly every time with almost no exceptions. The office staff have all been exceptionally kind and courteous and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this office to ANYONE looking for quality care!
I don't have a doctor and had a bad sinus infection that was causing me a lot of pain. I went in to Yuba Docs and they helped me with this problem and, as of today two weeks later I am fine.
