I came to Dr. Cann's office in April 2014 with severe sciatica back and leg pain. During my first visit I was in extreme pain. This was my first chiropractic visit and I was skeptical, but desperate for relief. I was treated professionally, respectfully and a treatment plan involving physical therapy, chiropractic adjustment and massage therapy was explained to me. I was amazed that I felt immediate relief after my first treatment. The decompression machine and chiropractic adjustments and massage therapy are excellent treatments of recovery. I was shown easy to follow therapeutic stretches and exercises and practiced them in the office and while at home. I have had a cat allergy all my life. Not life threatening, just enough to make me miserable. I have taken the edge off with her Isotonix supplements...but I wanted total relief. While running, I suffered a fall and injured my right great toe which has remained stiff for over two years but thanks to Dr. Cann and her latest laser treatment to the injured area, I am now pain free and ready to experience miles of smiles while out running again. I have been a patient of Dr. Cann ever since she opened her practice and I have had just about every service her practice is able to administer. I go in for alignment about every four weeks and that is a great help in preventing problems. The best treatment I have had so far is the decompression therapy I was able to receive after a skiing accident in December of 2012. After my fall I was unable to find any comfortable position except for sitting up, which made sleep difficult to achieve. I could stand only about two or three minutes without pain, and walking was extremely difficult.Before I had the decompression therapy, I had tried massage therapy, acupuncture, various prescriptions, steroid shots and anything else anyone would suggest. I even failed at getting the standard MRI since I could not lie still because of the pain. Fortunately, Pensacola has a "stand-up" MRI office that was able to take good quality pictures of my lower spine while seated and standing up. The MRI showed a bulging disk which qualified me to have the decompression treatment. The treatment went very well and I am back to where I was before the accident. I actually was disappointed when the treatment was over because it felt so good and was so relaxing.
