I met Jennifer when she taught a class at the Botanical Garden. Her humor and calm nature encouraged me to make an appointment with her. Last winter I had significant shoulder issues and I felt both her acupuncture and physical therapy training would be helpful to me. I was also having trouble sleeping. My shoulder is doing so much better and I still enjoy rowing my cataraft. My sleep improved, too. I encouraged several friends to go to Acupuncture West. Jennifer is truly a healer.

I've been seeing Jen at Acupuncture West for almost a year. I was recommended to her by my OB as a means to treat my headaches and anxiety during pregnancy. My head aches were tension-related and have landed me in urgent care several times. After my first visit to Jen, I remember saying that I had the "best weekend I've had" in a long time- no head ache, plenty of energy, and the crummy feeling I get due to my acute anxiety was completely gone. Now, I'm in my 9th month of pregnancy- almost done- and I'm thrilled to say that I've ZERO bouts with the anxiety and very few head aches. The head aches that I have experienced have come and gone within a few hours and I can hardly say I remember them. After baby is born, I will be continuing treatment not only because it has made me feel better, but it's resulted in me being more relaxed, with less stress and tension. Lastly, Jen is knowledgable, down to earth, and is someone I feel comfortable talking to about my health. Her responsiveness and willingness to listen has certainly been another component to my success with acupuncture.

I have been going to acupuncture west for ~ 6 months now to address anxiety, ms symptoms, hormonal imbalances, and insomnia. I have recieved great service and benefits. I had extremely painful acute tendonitis of my elbow and wrist for 8 months after dealing with chronic mild flare ups for 10 years. Nothing helped...occupational therapy, wrist braces, slings, cortisone shot. I was in so much pain it was difficult to do anything- cook, clean, hold my children, sleep, drive a car. I finally tried Peter at Acupuncture West. The pain severly decreased starting the very first treatment! I could hold my child's hand again with out massive pain!. After 4 treatments I am like a new person- the pain is no longer dominating my life! I am still healing but definately well on my way. Nothing short of a miracle.
