I am very cautious when it come to picking a dentist because of a few bad recent experiences. I am fairly new to Boise and got a referral from a friend to try Prevention Dental. I have a very irregular schedule and when I called they were more than willing to work with my schedule. When I went in Jennifer at the front desk was extremelly nice and professional. Not sure if there was a previous frond desk person but she really is awesome! When I got there, I actually got called back when my appointement time was scheduled. There was virtually no wait time. When I went to the back, the assistants were all very nice. The dentist is very professional and personable. It ended up that I needed a root canal and a crown. Again referring back to my bad experiences I asked for the codes to check the prices with my insurance company myself. I came up with a price that I thought the work would come out to and when it was all said and done I actually overpaid...AND THEY CALLED ME TO TELL ME THAT!!!! My children (3 and 5) have now been to this dentist and they loved it there. The assistants even let my 3 year old run the water and suction tools and he was more than excited about that. I will refer anyone that asks about a dentist to Prevention Dental because of the wonderful experience that they have created for me and my family.

Doctor seemed proficient in what he did but I wasn't too thrilled about the help. Like one of the other reviews stated; the front desk lady seems like such a grouch.

Not going to lie, I hate going to the dentist. But it's not so bad here. The hygentists are really nice, and calming, and the dentist's great. They're all very good at what they do. Thank you!!!

Thank you for the great job you did on my teeth. For many years I wanted work done on my teeth but had never gone through with it. Upon meeting you and your friendly staff, I knew I had found the right place for me. When I see myself in the mirror, I can barely keep myself from smiling and enjoying the wonderful smile you helped me acquire.

The whole reason why I chose this office was because they gave me the impression that they were willing to work out payment plans that means a lot to me because dental work can be expensive. I set up a payment plan and later found out my payments were not coming out on the dates we had agreed on and caused me overdraft fees through my bank. The person I spoke to that handles the billing refused to admit to anyone else but me that it was entirely her fault, and she was extremely unfair and rude to me about what happened. I wouldn't recommend going here unless you can afford it. Very disappointed
