A few weeks ago I had to get a drug and alcohol test because of an MIC ticket. Weeks and Vietri was very good about getting me signed up for the evaluation. When I went in everyone seemed very personable and business like. Since they received payment, however, the service has been non existent. They said that it would take about seven days to compile the results of the evaluation. Two days later I went home for spring break, a nine day vacation. Eleven days after my evaluation I assumed they would have been done. I was wrong. After I got back I called them twice on Monday. The second time someone answered and said that my evaluator would be in on Tuesday. Tuesday I called and got no answer in the morning. I called again and was told that my evaluator would be in shortly and call me soon after she got there. Three hours later I called and and found out that she was in, but was with a client. I was told that she would call me before her group therapy session. That didn't happen either. Yesterday I called again. They said that my results were done (13 days after they told me it would take 7 days) and told me that I would have to come in to pick up the results or call Moscow's attorney (the person I have to get the charge differed). When I called him I was told that I had to take an 8 hour class instead of the minimum 3 hour class. To put this in perspective, I know people who have gotten DUI's and taken the 3 hour class. My family has no history of addiction. I have a good GPA and I only drink moderately on the weekends. The only problem is my birth date. This morning I went in to go pick up my results since the city attorney couldn't tell me exactly what class I had to take. There was no one in the office. The door was unlocked, and it was during business hours, but no one was there. So, two weeks after my evaluation I hope to be able to go in and be able to sign up for my expensive, time consuming, and utterly unnecessary eight hour class. The best part of the whole thing is that I only have a month to get the class completed.
