The Chiropractic Difference
Reviews
I visited The Chiropractic Difference on a referral. Dr. Chandler's approach to chiropractic care is much different than I expected. I guess that explains the business name. Dr. Chandler listened to me about my pains and muscle strains and achey bones. He began explaining to me his thoughts about the causes and as he examined me he talked me through what he was doing, rather than just twisting me up like a pretzel. He never "popped" my back, but he used other very gentle techniques to align my spine, hips, neck, etc., and after doing one thing he went back to check and correct things he had just done, always making sure my alignment was good from top to bottom. After a few visits over a couple weeks I was back to my ol' self. About a six months later I visited Dr. Chandler on an emergency appointment. I was practically in tears. I wasn't just another appointment that walked through the door, he remembered who I was and was able to recall my history as if I had just seem him the day before. He had me mobile again after the emergency visit, gave me some exercises to do at home (not so easy to do at first, but improved with regular repetition). I have to admit that if I wasn't in tears before that visit, I certainly was afterward because the relief was so miraculously wonderful after feeling so miserable. A year later I needed another tweak. Again, it was like I had seen him the day before, and he went straight to work helping me feel better. Dr. Chandler is personable and very caring and I appreciate that he tells me what he's doing during the exams. There's also a massage therapist at his office. I had my first massage ever. I was reluctant to do so (worried it would hurt), but very glad I did, because it also helped heal me. Believe me, I've been in the most excruciating pain I could imagine on a couple of my visits, yet Dr. Chandler never added to that pain in order to alleviate it. There's no torture. Face it... waiting out your pain and misery might let you feel better after some time, but you really just need to see Dr. Chandler.
