Motorized carts Only 4 motorized carts. Husband and I were in at night time to do shopping, husband is disabled he had to walk. Two of the motorized carts were being used by local VU students joy riding. REALLY! They were acting like they were the only ones in the store. Associate said there was nothing that he could do.

I have read and heard that this Walmart is one of the worst (or the worst) in the state. I have only used this Walmart for about 3 years and, yes, it has been dirty and the store personnel were not as helpful as they could be. However, in the last year or so I have seen some improvement in the store, some. The Walmart in Washington is by far better, as is the one in Lawrenceville, Illinois. But living in Vincennes with limited time to shop, leaves you with only a couple of options for groceries, Walmart, JayC's (Kroger), or Save-a-lot. As far as fresh fruits and vegetables, there is the Farmers Market during the season. I have had much better luck there. I have learned you do have to pick and choose what you buy where to get the best quality, if not the better price.

This is by far the worst Walmart I have ever been to. The staff are mostly inept and have no desire to sell you anything. Multiple times I have been there and they have been unable to find the keys to unlock the ammunition cabinet. I have been told to come back tomorrow to buy something because they didn't know who had the keys to open the cabinet. I have waited for an hour AFTER asking someone for help with an item. I have seen late night Walmart employees sell an entire case of ammunition (.223) to an off duty cop and refuse to sell me any because he wanted all of it. The late night staff is unprofessional and do their absolute best to just ignore you.

Please avoid this Walmart!! The service and produce is horrible!!! I bought a watermelon on a Wednesday for my daughters birthday party the next day. On Thursday when I cut the watermelon open it was rotted and dried out in the middle. I threw it away thinking I just got a bad one and went back and bought another. I got it home and cut it open and it was exactly the same ROTTEN!! These watermelons are being sold to everyone at about 5 dollars a pop! They are selling rotten watermelons to the public and don't even care. I went to the manager and the customer service desk the manager seem complacent and smug and acted like they didn't have a problem.. WELL IT IS A PROBLEM WHEN YOUR SELLING ROTTEN PRODUCE!!!! So wrong! It should be a crime!
