Great dentist office. Everyone is professional and courteous. They do a great job of working with my insurance and making sure I understand all the costs involved. Dr. Heck is very patient and has a great "chair-side" manner. He explains everything so everyone ( even my kids ) understand what he is doing. I highly recommend this office and staff.

I cannot say enough good things about my boss, Dr. Brian Heck. He is a blessing not only to those who work for him, but to the patients he cares for! He has a heart of gold and treats everyone as if they are family to him. I am a Dental Hygienist that has known and worked for him since 2009. My working atmosphere could not be any better. We all think of one another as family. I love where I work and the great people I work with. From the moment you enter our office you will feel welcomed. Dr. Heck is very compassionate and gentle in the dentistry he does. The dentistry work itself is high quality. Several members of my family use Heck Family Dentistry, ranging in age from 72 to 12. The staff is more than competent and Dr. Heck is wonderful. We all really feel like we are part of the family there. Some of us have had extensive work done and it was as painless as possible. The pricing is fair and they do all the work with our insurance companies. The statements have a schedule on the bottom for every member in the family, so it is easy to remember when each of us is scheduled for our next visit. I highly recommend Heck Family Dentistry and urge people to begin dental check-ups for their very young children. It will be a positive experience. I first started with Dr. Heck's father and knew the younger Dr. Heck would be kind, qualified, and the dentist our family should use.

I have had some bad experiences with dentists and so, like many, I have waited until the very absolute worst is happening before I go. What's the solution: I can honestly tell you GO SEE DR. HECK! He is the most kind, gentle, compassionate dentist I have ever seen (and I have seen many). My daughter also has this crazy fear and she will not see anyone else but Dr. Heck. His practice is clean, professional, and sets a pretty high standard for others. His staff, Lauren and Crystal especially, are phenomenal. In having to balance dental insurance, flex spending, and out of pocket expenditures, they understand and will make sure you have the services you need and that you also have a clear understanding of financing and will work with you. I moved to Lawrence in 2006 and began going to Dr. Heck immediately. My daughter and son in law had strongly recommended him. He is one of the most caring and compassionate people I've ever met. He's made me feel like he's not only my dentist, but concerned about my total well-being. It's obvious the staff at Heck Family Dentistry have been hand-picked, as they are the same caring and concerned people as Dr. Heck. They all take pride in treating their patients with the utmost dignity. I've never had a doctor's office where I felt like the minute I walked in I was accepted like family. That says something about the person you first encounter when arriving. I've had only positive personable experiences with no apprehension. He has an awesome way with children too; my grandchildren like him and are made to feel comfortable without fear. I believe it's because Dr. Heck takes the time to explain everything he is doing. I plan on staying with Heck Family Dentistry for a lifetime.
