Dear all, This is the first review I have ever written. In fact, I feel so strongly for the poor service at Dr. Murray's that it has compelled me to write this review. Here are the reasons why I will never go back to Dr. Murray's: 1- From the minute you walk into the office you meet Mrs. Murray working the front desk...lets just say she is the OPPOSITE of a courteous person! She is super RUDE and impatient. 2- Dr. Murray is nice, especially if it is your first office visit. Very personable, however, when he is actually doing work on you, he watches TV…. I blame him for the continued pain underneath my molars after a simple filling. I think he was so preoccupied with the “Cash Cab” show that he must have damaged something while just performing a routine fill-in. He may be a great dentist but watching TV whilst working on patients is VERY BAD FORM! Not to mention that it can be hazardous. 3- Mrs. Murray watches one of their grand kids in the office…the downside to this is that the last time I was there, she refused to get my patient file because her granddaughter was sleeping in the filling room! Very unprofessional! Dr. Murray is in the Washingtonian’s best list of general dentists but don’t be fooled, he does NOT live up to that honorable mention. Overall, BAD service and you don’t want to deal with Mrs. Murray. I wish there was an option on this review forum to give their practice no stars!
DO NOT GO HERE!!! The receptionist is one of the most rude "customer service" people I have ever experienced. I thought she was just having a bad day, but she must have a LOT of bad days. She was rude to my wife who made my appointment. She was rude to me at my first visit. And she was a complete b**** on the phone when i tried to change my appointment. On top of that, instead of trying to assist me, she proceeded to tell me that there was going to be a fee to reschedule the appointment. HAHA! No way I am rescheduling....I'm going somewhere that appreciates their customers.
