Dr. John Faust and Dr. Edward Grubaugh Orthodontics
Reviews
The office staff was not very helpful when I was calling to try and schedule an appointment that fits my needs. I first need to schedule an appointment to "assess" what the cost would be and then need an appointment to actually get done what I wanted to get done. I just need a permanent retainer taken out. So, needless to say, having two appointments is already tricky. I am a teacher and need an appointment (or appointments) after school. When calling for the first time, the woman stated "we don't do that, but I can call the office manager". At first I wasn't thrilled because I wasn't even sure how that would help me, so I admit I stated "I'll find another orthodontist". I tried to call the Dewitt office and the same woman answered, giving me the same information as she did ten minutes before. Not only that, but when calling the office manager to ask permission, the latest available appointment would be 3:30, which isn't "late evening" as the website states. After the end of the phone calls, I am left with a week waiting period for the office assistant to get a hold of a manger to see if they can potentially fit me in for a "later" appointment time of 3:40. I am frustrated by the way that the office appointments are set up and the very firm appointments times (no flexibility). What a hassle! I understand that they can't meet everyones needs, but mine didn't seem too much to ask. If you have an open schedule, this is the place for you. I guess if I was able to choose my orthodontist in the first place when I was younger, I don't think I would have chosen this place because not only is scheduling difficult and unaccommodating, Dr. Faust was also never very personable and I'm dreading going back.
