Walmart

We visited the store this past Sunday. The store was impeccable. I have never seen a cleaner, tidier Walmart. I was very impressed with this store.
Not a super center. Everything is out of order it seems. Kinda lost and hard to find things. Wal-Mart has a familiar way normally but this one just feel backwards. A little under staffed for a busy as they are and well kinda small.
Well, it's Wal-Mart. If that hasn't sent you screaming to close your browser then you'll probably do just fine shopping here. Keep in mind it's not a SuperCenter, so while they do have some grocery items it's not a full selection. They're in the center of town though, and they do usually have everything else you might need, including a pharmacy center and automotive.
I don't really have any complaints about this store as such, but I do have one complaint about my experience there. We were staying at a nearby RV park and asked the lady in the office where the best place was to get tickets. She told us to go to the ticket stand in Walmart as all the rest of the places were trying to get people to buy time share. We barely got through the doors into Walmart and were immediately met by a man who told us he worked for the Inspiration Tower and that he was giving us free tickets (We found out when went to the tower, no one takes tickets so we didn't actually need them). Then he asked us what we were wanting to see. We named one group and they he worked some numbers and told us how much he could save us on them. Then he started into a Time Share sales pitch. We cut him off and left.
I visited the Walmart in Branson earlier this afternoon. I had a coupon that had been emailed to mine from Toys R Us for buy Skylander's Giants Starter pack and get the original Skylanders free, a $69.99 value. I was hoping they would price match the coupon. This is the first time I have tried to have anything price matched and it was a total joke. The commercials make it seem so easy to get a price match when it clearly isn't. The CSM Tricia kept coming up with different excuses as to why she wouldn't do the price match. First it was that there had to be a Toys R Us in the local area and she said the closest one was in Springfield. That's strange since I had just visited one in the Tanger Outlet in Branson literally 30 minutes before going to this Walmart. I then went back to electronics hoping someone there would have a little more knowledge about the area. There was a very nice woman there who did know of that location and was much more helpful in trying to get the ad price matched. Unfortunately I did not catch her name. When she verified that there was a location there, she called to Tricia again and explained that there was a location in the area. Then Tricia said that because the ad was emailed to me instead of in print she wouldn't match it. I would have been happy to print it out for her. She then said that because it didn't show the price of the Skylanders Giants, she couldn't match it. The ad said a $69.99 value which I would assume since it was buy one get one free, the price was $69.99. She obviously was going to keep coming up with excuses not to price match so I left the store. I will definitely not be using this "service" again. I'm so glad I'm only visiting here in Branson. I will be happy to go home and have my local Meijer do the price match. I've already spoken with them and they said they will happily price match it tomorrow even though the ad was for today only. Walmart really needs to step up their customer service if they ever want my business again.
