I went to Psalms Urgent Care on Nov 13th 2014 for care and I was tremendously impressed with the competent and caring staff at Psalms Urgent Care. I wish I knew everyone’s names that I interacted with that day – Barbara Deaton FNP, Ali, and Jackie. I met more of the staff and didn’t have a chance to learn everyone’s name but I sincerely value each of the staff that handled my case. I am sincerely thankful for the care that I received. Thank you to everyone at Psalms Urgent Care!
I visited the Psalms for the first time because my doc was on vacation and I didn't want to go to the ER. Everybody there was kind, compassionate, caring and patient. I was treated exceptionally well. I highly recommend them to anybody. I hope I don't have to return there, but if the need arises, it's there I'll go.
This place is such a rip off if you ask me and for "Christian" Folks they are supposedly I got treatest the rudest of any human being ever {worse than they would treat a dog}, I went in there because I was in so much pain...all the lady at the reception desk could talk about was her hair and going to get coffee {I guess so for how much they charged me}! The lady in the back told me they owed me some cash back plus told me I would only owe $27 more, but when I got up front the rude receptionist told me that I owed $35 and that I wasn't due no money back since they took so long with me in the back, what REALLY - like that was my fault they were soooo slow & I had to get back to work on top of that, NEVER again!!! Everyone told me that these guys were great & quick, but they were neither, everyone else that was going out of there I heard them tell I hope you get feeling better and basically they told me to get the heck out of there, rolling there eyes at me and calling me a liar! I don't appreciated this business or there hateful workers, there was one young black girl in there that was the sweetest person you could ever meet, but for the rest of the staff - I could never say that!!!! I have just never been treated that way no where before!
I went to Psalms yesterday. I was VERY sick when I went. I chose to drive an hour to get to Psalms because I don't have insurance and they are cheaper than going to ER, other Urgent Care(s), my personal doctor or "Minute" clinic. I arrived 30 minutes prior to them opening. The receptionist opened their doors before opening time. She was very patient, friendly and helpful. They have minimal paperwork that was easy to get through. The ladies did my vitals and had me in a room quickly. The doc took all of the necessary information and did several tests to determine what might be the cause of my sickness. She explained things well and was prompt. Both of the women yesterday were extremely nice and genuinely cared about my health and well being. I couldn't have asked for better service or bed side manner. I will continue to drive to Psalms when I need their services. (Just for a comparison---I was sick 3 months ago, I went to my doctor and had labs done, that visit cost me just shy of $600 plus prescriptions. Yesterday my visit to Psalms plus my gas for my drive and four prescriptions was $100)
The service was great!! I was going on vacation and could not get in to see my Doctor so I decided to find a place out on the road for treatment. I found Psalms Urgent Care from doing a search on my phone while passing through Burke County. I have been in the Health Care Field for over 20 years myself and this is some of the best patient care skills/treatment I have ever seen any place...
