Mc Guire F Patrick DDS
Reviews
Friendly staff and good atmosphere. They seem to have a technological edge, which is great. They also have a very thorough dental exam and it will let you know exactly where you stand in terms of dental health. I figured id post a short review since it was 3 years since the last ones were posted. They also really work with you on your dental insurance so that's always appreciated. Overall my experiences have been positive and I would recommend this Dentist.
I am totally surprised by the two reviews previous to mine. Dr. Patrick has been my dentist for years, and I have nothing but good things to say about the office. In fact, I never write reviews but when I saw this I just had to defend Dr. Patrick. We moved here several years back, and in comparison to my previous dentist, the whole experience is superior. The doctor is thorough and I always feel like I'm in good hands when I see him (and I've had my fair share of dental work, unfortunately). His staff is so warm and friendly, it feels like family. They are always laughing and having a good time. It's not your typical depressing dental office. They even remember my dog's name (not that it really matters, but it still beats dealing with a bunch of jerks). Dr. Patrick and his staff always go out of their way to make sure that my family and I have the best dental care, and they are friendly and professional while they do it. Wouldn't change a thing.
DO NOT GO THERE! I lost a filling, so I went to the Patrick McGuire's office to get it fixed as soon as possible. I liked the office, the staff was nice. BUT - I was charged 600$ for a double filling (that's right - 600$). I got home, it started hurting. I called the office, dr. called me back and told to take the pain reliever for 2 weeks. It got better, but in 4 months it started hurting a lot! Dr. told to take pain reliever again, but it didn't help. I went to the office, dr. told that it is the tooth he fixed, but it might not be his fault. Charged me for an "emergency" visit, and offered to extract an otherwise healthy tooth for 800$. I found another office, they replaced the filling and told that tooth wasn't cleaned properly before the filling was applied. Now the tooth is healthy. I will never go near that office again. Dr. Patrick McGuire is heartless money-making machine.
