Well, 5 stars means "loved it" but really folks, who loves going to the dentist? lol But Dr. Messenger gets 5 deserved stars. MANY years ago I had to do something about the overall health of my teeth or I was headed for trouble later in life. I had to get 2 bridges put in and it took a few visits and allot of work but Dr Messenger is a talented dentist for sure. The bridges are still fine and going strong. I went to another dentist not because of Dr Messenger and his capabilities...I felt that the office had turned a corner and was more into "upselling" work and not being completely up front with costs. It really still hurts to this day to have to use someone else because he really is a talented man. In fact, I have a small cavity and I haven't gotten it fixed yet because Messenger is the only one I trust. Guess I have to just deal with it. Sorry Dr Messenger....you still ROCK in my book though. PS I cringe at the bad reviews because I know he does great work and I just hate seeing the bad rap. Barb

I needed a crown, made an appointment, and was completely done in around 90 minutes - amazing technology! While I have never liked going to the dentist, it wasn't that bad, and I made it through. The only thing that might have made the experience better would be a complimentary dose of nitrous (wink). So far, I have been very pleased with routine visits and today!

I am a new patient. For a long time I have neglected my needs, worried more about how I would be "judged" than the damage what I was doing to myself by not gettng the treatment I needed. I will never feel this way again, this is the best experience I have had concerning my health, and it is becasue of the people who have seen me.

I am very Dental Phobic. I know many people think they are, however I am really unable to go to a dentist. As a result I am only at a dentist for an emergency. This was the case this week when I broke my tooth. From the moment I called Main Street dental the staff was amazing and so kind.They were able to get me an appointment the next day which is key for me because I stress out so much worrying about going. I was treated with compassion and the best part was that although this is a small town in New England they have state of the art equipment you would expect to find only in a large city and were able to complete the entire process of a crown in one day with no messy impressions and no pain. Dr Messenger and his staff are a extremely kind and talented. I am so grateful!

Being new to the northern region of NH, it was important to me to find a dental office i could be comfortable trusting my families oral health too. I did a walk thru with Main St Dental pictorial tour (on this page) and was very impressed. Which led me to going personally to the office to make apt's (to make sure the pictures didnt exaggerate its ambiance and cleanliness. (it didnt!)) The front clerical staff was welcoming and knowledgeable! When i had an insurance question the receptionist couldnt answer with surety, she had their 'insurance expert' come speak with me and fully answered my questions! Upon my families first appointments we were all put at ease by the graciousness and professionalism of the hygienists, and how Dr. Messinger put even my youngest child ( 8 yrs old! needed a filling!) in a state of near calm. (haha) My needs for continued oral health are more complicated and involved, but with the practice managers help (the dentists wife, Mrs. Susan Messinger) and a 0% financing plan, i am confident i can get the work done, even on my families tight financial budget! BIG KUDOS on the cleanliness/sterile state of the office too...in this day and age, we need to know our dental office undertakes the strictest precautions!
