American Unity Dental P.A.
Reviews
This place is a complete joke. I showed up for an appointment. Nobody was there, the door was closed. Called "support center" but they cannot reach anybody in the office either. What's a waste of time.
The office was clean enough and the staff seemed nice but were slightly unprofessional as they took my X-rays and a different dental assistant interrupted and asked for help with something without acknowledging that the girl was in the middle of working with me. After the X-rays the dentist came in, whipped through checking my teeth, telling me I had 8 cavities. When I asked questions she briefly answered without detail about the cavities. She cleaned my teeth in 5 minutes (fastest cleaning I've ever had) then told me to meet with the guy that does the charging and insurance stuff. He informed me that each cavity should be filled as soon as possible, charging over $200 for each one, even though my insurance would cover most the cost (which seemed kinda fishy to me like they just wanted my insurance money). Any time I asked when the different cavities were or what it meant that they were calling them (Buckle, etc...) he just told me they were just "fancy medical terms" but didn't explain any further. I ended up switching my insurance to go to another dentist who came recommended and when I went, after a thorough inspection, said that I had ZERO cavities. I'm pretty sure American Dental just wanted my insurance money and would have drilled nonexistent cavities to get it.
The receptionist is the most amazing and friendliest person ever. She has a beautiful smile and perfect teeth, and the service there is outstanding!
