The hygienists are ok, but the reservationists are terrible. They forgot to call me back to schedule an appointment which caused me to wait months just to get a cleaning. Then, when the day of my appointment finally came, they had overbooked (apparently gave my slot to someone else) so when I did come in I had to sit and wait for about 40 minutes before I actually got treated. They didn't seem to take any pride in their work or even care that they had caused my such inconvenience.

Dr Salazar is a breathe of fresh air in the office. I found a dentist that would take my insurance and do good work. the staff was very accommodating with schedule as I needed to have an evening appointment. I would definitely recommend Dr Salazar!!! My daughter just got her braces off and we are both so proud of her beautiful smile.

The office staff is great. the poor review is regarding Dr. Nathan Collins. Dr Collins treated me for an infected molar in March with the recommendation of root canal and bridge or extraction of tooth. Because cost would be beyond my ability to pay for service due to financial restrictions, I am a retired Senior; I was not able to do either recommendation. This past week the tooth once again became infected. I called my pharmacy and asked that they call Dr. Collins for refill of antibiotic and pain meds as the area was very swollen. I then called Dr Collins office and was referred to oral surgeon and made appointment to see surgeon on Monday 5/24. Oral surgeons office recommended I be on antibiotic until my appt. but since they had not seen me they could not prescribe antibiotics (Understandable) Dr. Collins refused to Rx the antibiotic but ok'd pain meds. Oral surgeons office called Dr Collins who still refused to Rx. antibiotics...In other states this is considered "Patient Abandonment" I am not certain if this is law in New Mexico. So now I will have to wait for tooth extraction until I can get on antibiotics to continue with Dr. Collins recommended extraction. I will not go back to Santa Fe Place Dental because of this experience. I will have to seek care elsewhere. My thanks to the staff at Santa Fe Place Dental for trying to act on my behalf...They cannot over-rule the Dr. But in this case Dr. Collins was wrong in his decision.

This is the cheapest dentist in Santa Fe. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Impersonal, unprofessional people. This was the most rushed and uncomfortable dental experience of my life. The dental work was consistently poor and never thorough, and I had to go back on multiple occasions to have them fix their sloppy work. On one of these occasions, the woman assisting the dentist looked at my teeth and said "Wow, I can't believe they let you walk out of here looking like that." Dr. Nathan Collins should consider a change of career.
