After extensive research, a recommendation, and courage, I ventured into Dr.Kwong's office for much needed dental work. Right from the beginning I was put at ease. I was also impressed with the latest technology and the expertise and confidence that Dr.Kwong and the staff have. Dr. Kwong made it easy and with minimal discomfort.( ok, easy and dental work in the same sentence - oxymoron if ever there was one - but this is excellent care. He made recommendations and together we made a plan, all within my budget. In time I was introduced to his "six month smiles" program. From day one to months later, everything was handled in a professional manner and now my teeth look awesome ! I spent years being afraid and procrastinating, and if you have, this is the place to go. It's the place to go period. He has a unique and caring personality, highly skilled, and a determination to help his patients in any way he can. I know this is as good as it gets, I highly recommend him.
Had 3 teeth removed, painless, same day crown done excellent results, bone grafts very successful Dr Kwong has the latest technology and has excellent skills and is very caring
I just had a very good appointment with this dentist. Best cleaning I've ever had. He cleaned most of the stains on my teeth using advanced equipment, and he gave me a very conservative, honest evaluation for future treatment.
The receptionist was quite unprofessional and unpleasant, but the doctor was nice
BEWARE. I went into Kwong's office knowing I had a filling that needed to be replaced. After examining and x-raying me, he drew up a plan that included replacing almost ALL my fillings and my 2 crowns for a total of $5800. He told me that me fillings were deteriorating and that there was decay around my crowns. I was shocked! After thinking, I went to a more established dentist for a second opinion -- the second dentist told me that my fillings and crowns were in great shape, and that Kwong's proposed treatments were unnecessary. I did need that one filling replaced with a crown, and the second dentist found an actual small cavity (I saw it with my own eyes... ) that Kwong had missed! My bill for the crown and filling was $1200 and I avoided having two half-days spent in the dentist chair and losing lots of healthy enamel as fillings were drilled away. Another bad sign: when I called Kwong's office to have my x-rays forwarded to the other dentist, the receptionist said she was too busy "forwarding x-rays for other patients". I'm glad I had the sense to avoid being tricked into unnecessary dental work. Save yourself some money and trouble and avoid Kwong.
