Dr. Beesley is a wonderful dentist. He is kind and caring and gentle. I have issues with the staff and particularly with the billing office. I took them a copy of my insurance approval for the two crowns that needed to be replaced. They do not take insurance but will bill the insurance company for you. We agreed on a pricing plan for the work. I paid a couple hundred dollars more than my previous dentist was charging but felt it was worth it to get the crowns done in one day. When all the work was done and the billing was done and insurance reimbursed, I still had an additional $539.00 due to the dentist office. This was in addition to the fees I hade already agreed to. I would never have paid an additional $900.00 to get the work done in one day. I have repeatedly contacted them and they do nothing but maintain that I owe the additional $539.00 that came as a complete surprise. I am disappointed that they were unable to give me a valid estimate of the fees due. Be very aware of what you are paying for the service. The agreement is not worth the paper it is written on.

Without hesitation, Dr. Norman Beesley and his staff have provided our family with the best dental care we've ever experienced. We are 63 years of age and, as a result, have been to a number of dentists through the years. Their office is warm and professional, real washcloths (not paper) in the restroom, staff are all highly qualified, proficient and communicative and well connected with one another. Dr. Beesley comes from a line of dentists, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. He keeps detailed records of one's dental health and actually reviews them prior to coming back in for an appointment. This is true for all of his staff, including the Dental Hygenists. They keep pictoral records of ones mouth when one begins to work with him so they have a baseline to start from when tracking the progression of any issues that may develop. Crown are made on the spot - no waiting for 2 to 3 weeks for a lab to complete the job. Hats off to South Meadows Dental - a top shelf Dental Practice!

I came to South Meadows Dental after going a few years without a cleaning or work. I had previously visited Dr. Mcmullen in Reno that had given me a nightmare experience that made me very afraid of dentists. The staff at South Meadows Dental put me at ease and made my very comfortable. It becomes very clear once you get there that your comfort is their number one priority. Not only do they treat you well but they are one of the most high tech places in town to go to. My exam and cleaning was great with the hygenist being TOTALLY understanding and careful. I discovered that I also needed a crown. The crown experience was amazing. South Meadows Dental uses CEREC for crowns which makes it insanely easy. I was in and out in one visit with my permenant crown. I can't highly enough recommend South Meadows Dental and specifically Dr. Struby and his staff.
