When I scheduled my first appointment, I indicated that I needed to have several things done and was interested in getting options regarding a failed root canal, among other things. I specifically said I was not interested in another root canal, so who did they schedule the appointment with? The doc who only does root canals. I went back and got a cleaning and "routine stuff" and the bill was astronomical and included some items that aren't typically covered by insurance--although I had specifically asked to only have services covered by insurance, I might as well have asked for a trip to the moon. For additional work that I need, I asked for a very specific insurance breakdown--prior to any additional work being done, and then had to cancel becasue, despite the month plus wait for the appointment, the insurance estimates hadn't come back. I'm really glad I cancelled because almost immediately the BIG bill arrived for the initial services. Never going back!
