This was my first visit for an exam with Aspen Dental. I really like the gal who did my xray, she was very professional and quick, She knew what she was doing and very light handed, The front desk receptionist was very nice and so was the hygienist. Explained everything to me. It was left to me which direction I wish to take and Dr. McQueen was very gentle and thorough. They knew my issues and understood them. I went to Afinia Dental for the same exam to compare the services and offers. I am so much happier with the service I received in Aspen Dental. Their office is more friendlier. Though Dr. Heck in Afinia seem to know what he is doing, he did not even looked in my mouth during the exam. He only looked at the xrays and decided on what needs to be done. The new receptionist was nice but the other gal who was training her and handles the estimates was snooty and hardly smiled. Not a friendly atmosphere at all. I could not wait to get out of there. Bad energy.

I WENT FOR A REGULAR CLEANING AND FOUND I HAD A SMALL CAVITY, WHICH I HAD NO PAIN FROM. WENT BACK AND HAD IT FILLED, THE STAFF AND DENTIST WAS NOT VERY FRIENDLY AND DID NOT EXPLAIN ANYTHING THAT WAS GOING ON. I HAVE VERY BAD ANXIETY WHEN IT COMES TO DENTAL WORK, AND WITH THEM NOT EXPLAINING AND CARRYING ON PERSONNEL CONVERSATION I WAS VERY UPSET. THEN TO TOP IT OFF,MY FILLING IS MESSED UP, IM IN ALOT OF PAIN, CALLED THE OFFICE TO RESCHEDULE TO GET IT FIXED, AND TOLD THEM I WAS IN PAIN. THEY DID NOTHING TO HELP WITH MY PAIN AND BRUSHED ME OFF. FINALLY THE DAY OF MY APPT. THEY CALLED AND CANCELLED IT CAUSE THE DENTIST HAD AN EMERGENCY. STILL IN A LOT OF PAIN IN MISERABLE IM STILL WAITING FOR MY NEXT APPT WHICH IS A WEEK AWAY. VERY FRUSTRATED AND MISERABLE !!!

Staff was very friendly. My only complaint was there wasn't much explanation on what procedures were being done. Would have appreciated a little more heads up on what to expect and what was to happen vs just being told you need this and not being informed of any of the actual details. I was also very frustrated to find out I was being charged over a hundred dollars for a toothbrush and wasn't even consulted on it. I didn't see any break down of my bill when I paid for it before the start of my appointment. When I was consulted of the over all price I was given supplies and such as the make up for the cost but later when I was given a receipt at the end of my visit and saw that I had been charge over a hundred dollars for a toothbrush. I would have appreciated being able to make a decision on whether or not I wanted such an extravagant purchase.

I went to aspen to have two teeth pulled. Everything went as good as it could get. I had my two teeth pulled 3 weeks ago and I'm still in a lot of pain. I have now called them for the 4th time and NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACk!!! Every unhappy with this place.

I highly recommend Aspen Dental at Eastgate in Cincinnati, OH. Forget about any fear of going to the dentist because they will make you feel right at home. Dr. Mounir and Dr. Bates are awesome. It's not often you will find such caring doctors who are so dedicated to your comfort and well being. Beth, the hygentist, and the rest of the staff were also very professional and made me feel right at home as well. Rory in the office worked with me on cost and payment. I assure you, you won't feel a thing! The price he worked out was much better than the estimates I got from other local dentists!
