I had bought a discounted (clearance) Christmas item and at home I discovered it didn't work. I took it back within 5 days of purchase and as expected, was told it couldn't be returned because it was a clearance item. I agreed to trade it in for one that worked. We tried it in the store and it too was defective, so I was given my money back.
