My Dentist Midtown Tulsa
Reviews
My experience with this office was horrible and time-consuming. a) They are extorting money from patients by tacking on a fabricated lab fee which they write off and does not go to insurance. b) I had a tooth extraction, bone graft, and a root canal. I paid in full through insurance and out of pocket prior to receiving my crown for the tooth. While wearing my temp crown, I missed 3 appts due to death in the family and other unforeseen emergencies. Due to missed appts (which were cancelled with prior notice), they refused to see me and released me as a patient even after I apologized profusely and literally pleaded for them to complete the crown seating. I was given a crown, however, and was forced to complete the seating elsewhere. Consequently, when I finally established myself with another dentist in order to seat the crown I received from them - granted was 8 mos later - I was told by my new dentist that the crown from "My Dentist" was not mine and they had made a mistake by giving me another patient's crown, and that although considerable time had passed no shifting could cause it to fit so improperly. I contacted "My Dentist" to rectify it by asking them to assess it themselves and provide me with my correct crown or a re-impression to take to my current doctor. They refused to do so. They are required by law/policy to seat it because they had been compensated by my insurance and myself (insurance covers the seat date). I was told by the office manager that I had signed a waiver relinquishing all of my rights and future service by them at the time I picked up my crown. So, now I have another person's crown; they have been paid in full and refuse to complete the process by providing me with mine or reimbursing me. The office manager was extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional when I attempted to reconcile my situation. She was very defensive and ended up hanging up on me. They are simply a large chain only interested in money, and shuffling patients in and out like cattle. In all of my 37 years of life I have never experienced anything like this.
Office support failed to mail me an external referral after requesting it three times (once in person, twice on the phone). Was scheduled twice for the same appointment to receive Invisalign trays (one of the appointments being before the trays had even arrived, and this one was scheduled after the first, correct appointment had been scheduled). Dental hygienist failed to mention that I had decalcification and talk about options to prevent it from worsening. The decalcification was pointed out by an extremely rude dentist at a later date.
