Walmart Supercenter

The people there are helpful and friendly. They work with you until they get it right! Contact lenses can be a hassle, but, they stay on it til you're happy! Great experience!
What do you expect? It's Portland, in the Land of Falling Apart except for Manhattan and a Few Other Wealthy Enclaves. It's not Walmart in Kunming city center, which is refeshingly exotic, and more carefully managed, almost a luxury dept. store, with only good looking girls working there. Why can't it be like that in America? But it is too crowded in China.
I heard a overnight freight manager call someone a "lazy bastard" to another co worker.
Did the people who work at the pharmacy go to school? My doctor faxed in a prescription so I go there a couple of hours later. It's not ready. They only read their faxes once a day, I guess. So they read mine and then hours go by and I recalled. Oh, they don't HAVE that type of medicine. Well, did you tell the doctor? No. Did you tell me? No. Were you ever going to? No. You know that cartoon that shows a bunch of clowns rolling on the floor laughing? And the caption says "you want it WHEN?" They are absolutely worthless. Walmarts motto, to CUSTOMERS should be "We're pathetic...and so are you". Walmart is like some store in the Soviet Union during Stalin's reign where no one gives a phuck.
I would give 3.5 stars if they let me, but they don't. The Springfield Wal-Mart is a Wal-Mart, and it does what Wal-Marts do best: provide a little bit of everything 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and usually reasonable prices and varying quality. This one is a superstore so it's got everything. I've been pretty satisfied with their oil change service. Take it for what it is.
