Gentle Dental of Thorndale
Reviews
Totally rude and unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment a month in advance, then called two weeks in advance to confirm the appointment, then they called me four days beforehand to ask me to come in half an hour early. I showed up early to be told that they "didn't have me on their roster" and told me to call the insurance company. The insurance company stated they would update my insurance info to comply with Gentle Dental's sudden demands but the pink-haired tatted receptionist refused to take me anyway. She said I couldn't come in until next year when they updated their roster. Of course they'll make up an excuse not to take me then. If they are never going to take me as a patient no matter what why did they tell me to call the insurance company? Sadistic jerks who get off on jerking people around.
When I went to Gentle Dental, I thought the dentists were very distracted. I did not enjoy my experience. The only time they did a good job was when I got teeth pulled, and Dr. In did that himself. I really think they could a better job treating their patients better.
Everyone was professional and very helpful. I need some work done and they are my pick. There is also some supplemental insurance available on their site that gives you further discounts. Check up, full set of xrays, cleaning 116.00 thats a deal.
They are so unprofessional at this office. The insurance they sell only is honored at Gentle Dentals. I spent $7,000 in the past year at dentist office to have things corrected that Thorndale Gentle Dental did not correct properly. Today I am finally finished and I have a beautiful smile, NO THANKS TO GENTLE DENTAL. He does not know how to do anything other than pulling and filling. That's it. So if you need even a proper cleaning or anything else, don't go there. He banged on my teeth and pushed and pulled and twisted then 3 days later I suffered horrible pain and went back to him. He told me I needed a root canal on my front tooth and told me to come back in 3 weeks to get it done by him. Luckily I had better sense and got it done immediately by a dentist who SPECIALIZES in root canals. Today I have a lovely smile after my braces were removed today, root canal and all. Don't Go To Gentle Dental in Thorndale!
I warn against this dentist, it is more like an overcrowded clinic. The Dr. does not interact with you, rather does his job and sends you on your way. I was there less than 2 months ago and had 2 cavities filled. I waited for 45 minutes for him to come over to the chair, he then gave me novacaine and left for 15 more minutes. He then came back and started drilling, I put my hand up because it hurt, he gave me more novacaine and then left for about 10 more minutes. It took him about 4 minutes to fill them and BAM see you later! Well, the tooth right above it has been hurting, I just looked at it, it is completely rotted. This "Dr." didn't even notice while filling my other teeth? Stay away, you get what you pay for.
