Terrible experience. It did not take long for my wife and I to realize why they had a wait list that was a few months shorter then anyone else in the greater Nashville area. We went to the Nashville office to look into what we thought were some type of insect bites but wanted to make sure. We were told there was no way it could be insect bites and were provided some medication and set a follow up appointment. During our next visit they seemingly forgot they told us it could not be insect bites and stated it was insect bites. They then performed a biopsy on my wife so they could determine the type of insect bite that had occurred. The biopsy performed has left a scare that has still not faded (over 4 months now). When we came to get our results they told us it was an insect bite but that a biopsy would not be able to tell us the type of bite that occurred, which obviously makes no sense since this was the exact reason they told us they needed to get the biopsy. They also prescribed numerous types of medication that were costly during the process and prescribed the wrong amount on our last visit, which resulted in unknowingly paying the pharmacist an additional $80+. The result of three visits here was expenses totaling over $500 while receiving conflicting information on each visit and never receiving the answer we sought or the solution we needed when we came in. We also did not see the doctor on one visit and were only provided "treatment" by a PA and nurse. Additionally, when receiving the bill, we had a few questions so we called in to have a few questions relating to the bill answered (i.e., copayment, etc.). We never received a call back (after waiting about a month) until today when we received a call stating the bill was going to go to collections if we did not pay it. I find this extremely unprofessional as we had attempted to pay the bill but wanted our questions answered first. Again, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nice facility, nice nurse (Michael) but the dr. was in an out in less than 4 minutes. Feels way too much like a patient mill. They also "prescribe" products with the strong suggestion that you use them (these products are available elsewhere at a far, far lower markup). The good part was that she cured my problem, but her bedside manner leaves an awful lot to be desired and the "products as prescriptions" tactic is not nice.

My experience at Skin Solutions was great. There was a wait, but with any speciality doctor that is what you can expect...nothing out of the oridnary. They gave me the time I needed to explain my problems, and helped me out a great deal. They are very knowledgeable. Front office staff was very friendly and helpful with my questions, and helped me get a apointment that works best with my schedule. I would recommend Skin Solutions for anyone with dermatology needs

I had a great experience after going to Skin Solutions to deal with my adult acne. My skin hasn't been better since. I disagree with KJP818, sometimes doctor's offices can't refill a prescription because you have to come in and have blood work drawn, etc. I know this to be the case for a lot of prescriptions such as Spironolactone and Accutane, etc. and that's in place for your safety. The front staff is very awesome. Those girls are very friendly and upbeat!! I will definitely be coming back.... but hopefully not for acne!

I agree with Johnathan & JMB - their Bookeeping SUCKS as well as their reminder call for your appointment. They claim they always call to remind you of your appointment but I have never received one. Then they tried to stick me with a $25 no show fee when I made the appt 6 months before. The prescription nurse is horrible. She loves to tell people "NO, we can not call you in a refill until you come in for an appointment" - then they won't have any appts for a month out - such CRAP!! I know so many people that have stopped going to them for these reasons. I started going to my Primary Care Physician - the Co-Pay is a lot lower since the appt is no longer a specialty doctor & he will fill my meds whenever I need him too without any attitude.
