Dr. Patel is fantastic. He is passionate about dentistry and his practice, which is reflected in his work and in his staff. He is meticulous and genuinely concerned about the health of your teeth. He takes time to explain exactly what he is doing and why, and always errs on the side of caution, taking a conservative approach. He is also incredibly personable, as is his staff. Diane, his Scheduler and Office Manager, is always super cheerful and goes the extra mile to work with my crazy schedule to organize appointments at my convenience. Lucerno, his Dental Assistant, does everything she can to ensure my comfort during the appointment and actually makes me giggle. The icing on the cake is that Sweet Tooth is conveniently located on South Congress and has designated parking in a busy lot, so it is easy to find and get in and get out on time. I always leave with a smile.

As a musician, I was referred by HAAM (Health Alliance for Austin Musicians) to Dr. Patel's office. I hadn't been insured in years and never liked the generally sterile and impersonal experience of visiting a dentist anyway. I never write reviews but my experience with Sweet Tooth Dental was so positive that I am compelled to let others know. It is a small office with a very amiable and welcoming lady named Diane at the front. The sign-in process is quick and painless, and there are records playing in the comfortable waiting area, giving the feel of a hip and modern home. In the actual exam room, Dr. Patel's assistant put me at ease with music of my choice (an unorthodoxed but quite pleasant surprise), and all of the equipment looked very clean and up-to-date. Dr. Patel himself was just as casual and relaxed as his assistant, yet extremely knowledgeable, personable, and empathetic. He used a screen nearby to show me high-quality images (both stills and real-time) of the condition of my teeth, and to explain the nature and reasoning for the work he proposed. The entire visit did not take long, yet I never felt rushed or uneasy. In the realms of personal attention, friendliness, and professionalism, I couldn't say enough about Dr. Patel and Sweet Tooth Dental. If more dentists' offices were like this, negative associations would become positive ones and people would no longer dread but rather embrace opportunities to visit the dentist!

Great office. They are very warm and talk to you like a person. They take into account all the different facets of treatment and make it work for you. I am very busy and they found a way to work with my schedule. Dr Patel really knows his stuff. His smile evaluation was awesome, now I will be getting veneers in my front 6 teeth. I cant wait. Highly recommended

Dr. Patel and his staff are very friendly and helpful. He took the time to explain treatment plans and how insurance works. The office is clean an inviting.
